Our admissions process is designed to ensure a thoughtful, values-aligned fit for both your child and our community. Please note: To be considered in our first round of acceptance decisions, we kindly ask that applications be submitted by May 1st. Applications received after this date will be considered in our second round of acceptances.

Application Process - What To Expect

1. Complete the Online Application

  • Submit the application form [SEE BELOW]

  • Our team will review your submission promptly

  • If the class is at capacity, you'll receive an email confirming you've been added to our waiting list.

2. Schedule a Video Interview

  • Use the Calendly link provided in your confirmation email

  • Select a convenient time for a 30-minute interview with our admissions team

3. Pay the Application Fee

  • After your interview, you'll receive an invoice for the $100 non-refundable application fee (per child)

  • Payment options will be detailed in the invoice

4. Submit Required Documentation

Please submit all of the following documents together:

  • Academic records from the past two years (if applicable)

  • Child's passport or cédula

  • Parents' passport or cédula

  • Current immunization records

  • If applicable:

    • Psychometric or special education testing results

    • IEP or special educational plans/accommodations

    • Notarized proof of custody or adoption

5. Meet the Teacher & Tour Campus

  • Once all documents are received and reviewed, we'll arrange either:

    • A virtual meeting with a prospective teacher, or

    • An in-person meeting including a campus tour

6. Complete Enrollment

If your child is accepted, you'll receive:

  • An official Acceptance Letter

  • A Tuition Agreement outlining all terms and payment options

To secure your child's place:

  • Return the signed Tuition Agreement with all required fees

  • Complete all payments by July 1, unless a payment plan has been approved

Important Notes

  • Payment Plans: Contact our admissions office before July 1 to discuss payment plan options

  • Document Submission: Please submit all documents in Step 4 as a complete package to prevent delays

  • Application Timeline: The entire process typically takes 2-3 weeks from initial application to enrollment decision

Tuition - Fees


Important Dates & Billing Cycles

At Casa de las Estrellas, we strive to provide clear and supportive billing practices that reflect our values of transparency, accountability, and community care.

Tuition Payment Options

Families may choose from the following tuition payment plans:

  • Annual Payment
    Pay in full by July 1st and receive a 3% discount on the total annual tuition.

  • Trimester Plan
    Pay in three installments throughout the school year (see due dates below).

  • Monthly Plan
    Available by request, with a formal proposal submitted to the Administrative Council for review. If approved, monthly payments begin on July 1st and end with the tenth and final payment on April 1st. (No payment is required in June.)

Sibling Discount

To support families with multiple children enrolled, we offer the following discounts:

  • Second child: 5% tuition discount

  • Third child and beyond: 10% tuition discount

Please note: Discounts apply to the child(ren) with the lowest tuition rate. The matriculation fee is charged per child and is not discounted.

Matriculation Fee (Matrícula)

The matriculation fee is an annual payment that confirms your child's enrollment for the upcoming school year. In the spirit of Waldorf education, this fee represents a family’s intentional recommitment to our shared learning path and school community.

This fee supports:

  • Administrative and enrollment processing

  • Annual student records and documentation

  • Ordering and preparation of classroom materials

  • Staffing and scheduling commitments for the upcoming year

Details:

  • Due May 15th each year

  • Non-refundable

  • Separate from tuition

1st Trimester or Annual Payment - July 1

Final Monthly Payment - April 1
